The Quarterback Club is a men’s ministry designed to help each man become aware of the extreme values of their role as husband, father, grandfather and to be overall role models of honesty, integrity, and godliness.
The ministry purpose or mission is:
“Turning men into winners by passing the ball of integrity to the next generation in the game of life… the biggest game on Earth.”
The theme is built around American football, and all other sports, because of its popularity and its appeal to men in general. There are also a multitude of similarities that exist between sports and living a Godly life. Both require great discipline, desire, determination, and endurance to be successful. In today’s society we often look at the players on the gridiron as heroes, champions, men with no worries, no problems like our own. This group was started to support men who feel the pressures of today and the responsibilities of life weighing down on them, and how that stress can be managed.
